Authentication is required to use Tri-Central's Wireless network. After viewing the Acceptable Use Policy below enter a user name and password to proceed. If you are a visitor and have not been provided a password you may select "Log In as Guest". This will provide you with limited service for 12 hours. Students and staff should use their provided computer access username and password. If you do not agree with the Acceptable Use Policy you must exit now. Logging in means you agree with the terms.
Tri-Central Community Schools Wireless Acceptable Use Policy The purpose of this Wireless Internet service is to support education at Tri-Central Community Schools while providing a service to our community. The use of the wireless Internet service is a privilege, not a right. Inappropriate use will result in cancellation of the privilege. Any user identified as a security risk or having a history of problems with other computer systems may be denied access to the network. Tri-Central Community Schools make no warranties of any kind; whether expressed or implied, for the service it is providing. The corporation provides Internet filtering in compliance with the Child Protection Act. The corporation will not be responsible for any damages the user suffers such as loss of data, non-deliveries, misdeliveries, or service interruptions. Tri-Central Community Schools specifically deny any responsibility for the accuracy or quality of information obtained through this Internet service. 1. The following uses of the wireless network are prohibited: - Private or commercial business or for-profit purposes having nothing to do with Tri-Central. - Extensive use for personal business. - Product advertisement. - Political lobbying for individual candidates. - Transmission of any material in violation of any state or U.S. regulation. - Transmission of copyrighted material or material protected by trade secrets. - Download, install or use of unauthorized copies of any software. - Download any proprietary copyrighted music, videos or other digital media - Try to learn others’ passwords. - Enter, use, copy, alter, or tamper with computer files or software belonging to another person or the corporation either locally or in remote locations. - Redistribute the wireless Internet service. - Setting your device as a hotspot is expressly prohibited. - Using the wireless Internet service as a Torrent is prohibited. - Shall not violate any local, state, or federal statute while using the network. - the use of profanity, inappropriate language, or threats to person or property is strictly forbidden. - It is strictly forbidden to transmit obscene, abusive or sexually explicit language. - Use of the network to access, upload, download, or distribute pornographic, obscene, abusive, or sexually explicit material, inappropriate text files, or files dangerous to the integrity of the local school district is prohibited. Users of the Tri-Central wireless network should: - Abide by the generally accepted rules of network etiquette and this policy. - Ensure your personal device is free of viruses and is running the latest antivirus software. - Advise the administration immediately of any known violation of this policy. - Advise the administration immediately of any known harassment or bullying. Continuing on to the wireless Internet access means you agree to this policy. If you do not agree you must exit now.
This network may employ SSL decryption in order to filter malicious or inappropriate Web content. By using this network you agree that your secure (HTTPS) Web traffic may be intercepted for this purpose. Intercepted data will never be stored nor transmitted to anyone who is not party to the intended connection.
